Also known as Sovereign of Dark's End

Lore

The ancient Sovereign of the Abyss, risen from ruin, now seeks to slay the God of Darkness and hunt down its Spawns of Decay. Obsidia once ruled the Abyss as its great sovereign, a figure of such terrible majesty that her subjects trembled in her presence, earning her the title of the Goddess of Death. In an ancient battle, she grievously wounded by the God of Darkness, but was struck down by its vengeful power. Her remains have been sealed away by the subjects of the Abyss ever since. Now she has awakened from her remnants to find the God of Darkness's corrupting influence once again threatening her domain. Wielding weapons forged from her very bones, Obsidia hunts the Spawns of Decay, reclaiming her power with each kill, as she prepares to slay the God of Darkness once and for all.

Return to Bone

Buff

Obsidia gains Bone Energy whenever she deals damage. Basic Attacks grant 1 Energy against non-hero units and 2 against hero units or Turrets. Skills grant Energy equal to 3 times the amount granted by Basic Attacks against the same unit type. No Energy is gained from hitting creeps. When Bone Energy reaches 30, it forms a Bone Shard, up to 25 shards. When Obsidia uses Basic Attacks, all Bone Shards strike the target, each dealing (+6% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and inheriting 6% Attack Effects. Killing an enemy hero directly grants 1 Bone Shard(s). Obsidia's Basic Attacks deal 70 (+70% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage, inheriting 100% Attack Effects.

Abyssal Bone Needle

DamageAOE

Obsidia launches an Abyssal Bone Needle, dealing 325 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies hit and triggering Return to Bone on the first enemy hero struck.

Skill 2
CD 4.540 Mana

Phantom Shadowmeld

Speed Up

Obsidia descends into the Abyss and enters Shadowmeld Form, gaining 500% Movement Speed for 0.3s.

Hunt of Bone

CCMobility

Obsidia shoots Bones of Wrath in the target direction, dealing 125 (+60% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage and briefly stunning the first enemy hero hit before pulling herself to the target. The Bones of Wrath tethers Obsidia to the enemy, preventing her from moving more than 4 units away. While tethered, the enemy cannot use mobility skills, and their movement drags Obsidia along. Obsidia also gains 5 temporary Bone Shards stacks and a shield equal to 200 (+ 25 per Bone Shard stack). This effect lasts 3s. While tethered, Obsidia can move through obstacles and use Basic Attacks while moving. Phantom Shadowmeld is also enhanced: its duration increases to 1s, and its cooldown is reduced to 33%.

Matchups

Counters

Obsidia's Ultimate will disable dash and blink skills, making her excellent at countering heroes who rely on them, such as Hayabusa, Freya, and Lancelot.

Countered by

Obsidia struggles during the early laning phase, making her vulnerable to other Marksmen with strong early game, such as Bruno and Layla.

Compatibility

Obsidia usually reaches her damage potential in the mid-to-late game, so she wants support heroes who can help her in the early game, like Angela and Estes.

Combos

TEAMFIGHT COMBOS

During teamfights, use Obsidia's Basic Attacks and 1st Skill to poke the enemy, and her 2nd Skill to reposition herself. Look for opportunities to close in on a target with her Ultimate and pick them off with your team. Finally, use her mobility and powerful Basic Attacks to clean up the remaining enemies.

Laning Combos

During the laning phase, use Obsidia's 1st Skill often on enemy Minions and heroes to quickly stack her Passive. When the enemy's HP drops low enough, use Obsidia's 2nd Skill and Ultimate on them and finish them off with Basic Attacks.
