Miya, the Moonlight Archer, is a marksman who plays in the Gold Lane.

Lore

Born at the end of the Era of Strife, Miya bore witness to the unspeakable tragedies that befell the elves during the Endless War. She saw how the Abyss defiled the Shadow Swamp and corrupted many of her people into Dark Elves. It was not until the Moon Goddess created the Lunar Aegis over Azrya that the Moon Elves were able to thrive again under its protection. Miya became the Priestess of the Moon, and for thousand of years she served faithfully in the Lunar Temple, diligently watching over her people. However, with the continued expansion of the Abyss and its dark legions, the Land of Dawn is once again shrouded by the fog of war. From the Moonlit Forest, a call to war that has not been heard in thousand of years sounded again. Miya took up her silver bow and swore by the light of the moon to fight for her people.

Each time Miya's Basic Attack hits a target, she gains 5% Attack Speed for 4s (up to 5 stacks). At maximum stacks, each Basic Attack also summons a Moonlight Shadow to attack the target, dealing 25 (+20% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage, inheriting 20% Attack Effects.

Miya calls upon the power of Moon Eclipse in the target area, dealing 270 (+45% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies within and immobilizing them for 1.2s. The attack then splits into 6 arrows that scatter in different directions. Each arrow deals 40 (+20% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and slows enemies hit by 30% for 2s.

Miya removes all debuffs and enters the Conceal state, gaining 65% Movement Speed for up to 2s (attacking ends the state early). Upon exiting the Conceal state, Miya gains maximum stacks of Moon Blessing.

Counters

Miya counters heroes who rely on targeted CC effects, such as Saber and Eudora, because she can easily escape their CC and respond with a strong counterattack. The split arrows from her 1st Skill are also very effective against heroes that summon units, such as Sun.

Countered by

Miya is countered by heroes with a lot of AOE damage, such as Pharsa and Yve, because they can still hit her while she is concealed.

Compatibility

Miya works well with Tanks who have powerful CC abilities like Belerick and Tigreal since their CCs give her more opportunities to dish out damage.

TEAMFIGHT COMBOS

In teamfights, use Miya's Ultimate first to conceal herself, then find an ideal position to attack the enemy and quickly stack her Passive. Utilize her 2nd Skill to immobilize the enemy and activate her 1st Skill to enhance her Basic Attacks to hit multiple targets at once.

LANING COMBOS

When laning, immobilize the opponent with Miya's 2nd Skill and use her 1st Skill to poke them and clear Minions at the same time.
